Using an iconic image of Joy Division, I’ve worked in layers filling spaces with felt pen as well as adding cut outs of other images to somehow try to visualise the torrents of dark thoughts that might have occupied Ian’s mind. All in all the original consists of nearly ten sheets of paper scanned, printed and touched upon.
